Description
My friend is graduating from college this year, and he asked me to take some pictures so he could send them out with the invitations, we went to his campus where he put on the grad clothes and just took a lot of random pictures, Ill post about 13 of them, just so you guys can critique them for me.

Nice portrait with good lighting and composition. But this really is the type of image that would benefit from narrow depth-of-field to blur the background.
Personally I would shoot outdoor portraits with my 70-200mm f2.8 VR (Nikon lens) but it's horribly expensive and so is the Canon equivalient. Perhaps the 85mm f1.8 would also work nicely with this kind of cases.
Also after checking the exif-information, I would say that you have far too high ISO here. You could have dropped ISO to 100 easily and still gotten fast enough shutter speed to get sharp image.
